SUCCULENT CARE
All of our Succulent Arrangements are everlasting pieces with the proper care.
While succulents are still in arrangements without soil, they will continue to grow when taken care of properly. We suggest putting your arrangements in a well-lit area & mist the moss lightly with water when dry to preserve the liveliness of the plants. All of the succulents can then be replanted in soil after use & will continue to grow!
LIGHTING: Like all plants, succulents will grow to the light. When this happens, succulents will begin to stretch. If you do not like the look of your plants when they stretch or you do not feel like they are getting enough light, you can purchase an inexpensive grow light online to help prevent stretching. Ask us about our favorites! We also suggest rotating your arrangement when possible so the plants don’t lean towards one side when finding the light. Please remember once succulents have stretched, they will not go back to their original form, however, they can be propagated into new plants!
WATERING: Make sure to water the moss or soil directly. Some succulents don’t like when their leaves get wet. It is best practice to water more in the warmer months & less in the cooler months, but listen to your plant’s needs! If your arrangement is already planted in soil, only water when the top layer of the soil is completely dry. When watering, give the soil a good soaking until the water runs out the drainage holes at the bottom. If your arrangements do not have drainage holes, please be careful to not overwater your plants or the roots can rot.
